Last Call for Raffle Tickets

Academic All-America
Attention Graduating Seniors! If your GPA is a 3.75/4.0 or 93.75% of a weighted scale, and you have earned a letter in swimming & diving, then you are qualified as an Academic All-American. Your application is due March 31. I ask that all swimmers and divers complete and turn in their own paperwork for this application. There is no charge to apply, simply check off that your coach is a member of NISCA and fill in my membership #: 07-6179

Senior Night this Friday, 2/3
at the Liberty YMCA
Our meet is against Pickerington Central
Athletes should arrive at the pool no later than 4:15. We will warm-up at 4:30.
The meet begins at 5:30.
Our celebration of our seniors will be held at the YMCA immediately following the conclusion of the meet.

Timers needed
We need 3-5 more volunteers for this Friday. Please volunteer so that senior parents can sit back and enjoy their child's last regular season meet.
We have volunteered to provide 6 timers for the Girls Sectional meet (we are splitting this duty with Orange & OHS). The 3 schools will receive a total of $200 to split as a result and all timers get free admission. I would like to have 12 volunteers so that we can split the 6 timing spots up (each person would time half of the meet).

Pictures are needed
We are looking for pictures from this season and pictures of seniors from the last 4 years!
Ann Hiltner is working on organizing the Senior scrapbooks for all of our seniors this year and NEEDS your help! Please look through your pictures for any that you have of the team, swimmers, divers, group shots, and especially any pictures of seniors included in these -place all of these on a thumb drive or CD and send these to practice with your swimmers this week. OR give them to Ann Hiltner at Friday's meet. We will also use your pictures for the team video at the end of the year.
If you want your thumb drive returned, please make sure it is in a zip lock bag with your name and phone number.

Schedule
We do not have any big changes in the schedule over the next two weeks. We are training as usual and have a few meets sprinkled in the mix. Reminders:
There will be a Friday practice this week - this will be at the Liberty YMCA at 3:00 until 5:00
OCC Swim Championships are Saturday (1/28) at the Union County YMCA. The bus will leave the school at 9:15 am. All boys swim, varsity girls swim. The line-up has been announced and will also be posted on our website later in the week. The meet begins at 11:30 am. Address: 1150 Charles Lane, Marysville, OH 4304
Friday, February 3 is a home meet and our Senior Recognition Night. This is a home meet, which means all of our swimmers swim. Traditionally our divers also swim at senior night. This will be the final competition for any girl that does not make the Sectional Line-up (line-up is announced Monday 1/30). All boys swim sectionals.
Divers have three more meets this season. OCC Championships (please check schedule with Coach Jen), Districts and States (for those that advance out of districts).
